Beginnings

When I first began working with R, my sole motive was to do it for the fun of it. I created analyses and side projects on my GitHub, but I didn’t really have any aim beyond that. For me back then, R was just something I did because I liked.

Over time, as my passion grew, I began thinking of ways to make myself known to the community as someone who is incredibly passionate about Data Analytics. After all, not everybody will be going through the code I write on GitHub.

This led me to start running a few Kaggle kernels(this one, for example), while also interacting a bit more with the community via both LinkedIn and Twitter. However, something in the back of my mind told me this still wasn’t enough. I needed a way for even a layman to understand what I was doing.

Hence, the blog.

I’ve been juggling around with side projects in my free time for a while now, and I want this blog to be the platform I use to show the world my growth as a Data Analyst. I’ll be doing my best to keep this updated regularly with new projects, or maybe I’ll convert some of my own projects into blog posts.

Either way, the future is promising.
